About Jo:

Jo grew up in East London, studied at Central St Martins and has worked in the creative industries for the past 17 years as creative, copywriter, director, editor and one half of creative team, JO + ALEXIA.

Alongside Alexia, Jo has worked for Boots, Dove, Comfort, Hellmann’s, Heinz, Mars, L’Oreal, Coca Cola, CeraVe, Budweiser, Lancôme, Cadbury, Johnnie Walker, Paco Rabanne and Merrell. As a promo director, she’s worked for BBC (Fleabag,) 4Creative (Skins, Shameless,) MTV and ITV, and considers herself lucky to have been awarded (Cannes Lion, Clio, Creative Circle, Promax) and nominated (One Show, Effie Awards) for some of the work she’s made.

Away from work, she’s curated exhibitions for House of Vans, helped brand beer (even if she doesn’t drink it), written poetry and stories, some of which can be found on instagram page @Clubland_Poetry, and likes to paint if she has somewhere to do it, which is rare. When it all gets a bit much, she’s also a qualified yoga teacher.
